Luke 10:25 NIV On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
Luke 10:26 NIV “What is written in the Law?” Jesus replied. “How do you read it?”
Luke 10:27 NIV He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
Luke 10:28 NIV “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”
Romans 3:20 NLV No person will be made right (Justified) with God by doing what the Law says. The Law shows us how sinful we are.
Luke 10:29 NIV But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” Because he knew he wasn’t loving like that
"justify himself” Literally in the Greek "Make himself righteous & innocent"
Sin does not stop God's grace from flowing but Grace will stop sin!
“Where sin abounds, Grace super abounds”
